Course Assignment Procedure

Once a faculty’s qualifications have been reviewed, and the faculty has successfully completed the Getting Started in WebCT and CCCOnline training, that person is eligible to be assigned a course to teach.

Program chairs typically assign courses based on expressed faculty availability and enrollments. Chairs try to recruit and time the addition of new faculty with developing enrollments, and ultimately, it is the enrollments that decide how many sections are offered. So please do not be discouraged if you are all ready to teach and don’t immediately get a course—it means you are at-the-ready for next term’s assignments.
