The Arts and Humanities program offers courses in Art Appreciation and Art History, History, Humanities, Music Appreciation and Music History, and Philosophy. The intention of these courses is to impart general knowledge and appreciation of the arts and humanities. Instructionally, these courses support the development of critical thinking and written expression in those disciplines. A knowledge and appreciation of arts and civilization not only adds great value to learning across the curriculum, it adds to our conversations with others in our world. |
