Building Code Enforcement is part of the Construction Technology (CON) program at RRCC. CON offers courses in electrical, plumbing, construction, fine woodworking, solar, heating and air conditioning and carpentry apprenticeship. The Construction Technology program is the most comprehensive school/training program for the building industry in the region with 30 degrees and 40 certificates in 19 program areas. The two-year, 61-credit-hour Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree allows you the flexibility to select numerous areas of emphasis. The Construction Technology cluster includes: Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration (AHR); Carpentry (CAR); Construction Technology (CON); Electrical (EIC); Fine Woodworking (FIW); Plumbing (PLU); and Apprentice-Related Technology, offered in conjunction with Construction Industry training Council (CITC).Red Rocks Community College (RRCC)and their Construction Technology program partners with numerous companies and associations to provide customized training. Red Rocks is the only program in Colorado to offer such a comprehensive construction technology program. Some of the diverse professions for which you are trained include: carpenters, plumbers, pipe fitters, roofers, steel workers, water/waste treatment plant operators, electricians, cable and line installers, glaziers, air conditioning and refrigeration mechanics, and bricklayers. |
