CCCOnline offers a range of courses that provide a general introduction to theory and practice in this discipline, and may lead to a more extensive exposure within the specified applications in selected areas. Students may enroll in these courses to meet the requirements for various certificate and degree programs at the various Colorado community colleges. Please check with your home college for degree and certificate details.
The Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree can be designed for students seeking careers in corrections or law enforcement. Degree and certificate offerings are different at each home college. Always check with your home college advising office to discuss your educational needs.
The Associate of General Studies (A.G.S.) Degree, with an emphasis in Criminal Justice, can be designed to prepare the student to enter Metropolitan State College of Denver at the junior level in a bachelor degree program. Students should consult with a home college advisor to review the transfer articulation agreements and to determine which general education and criminal justice courses should be selected to meet the degree requirements of the four-year institution.
