The Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree is designed for student seeking careers in corrections or law enforcement.
The Associate of General Studies (A.G.S.) Degree, with an emphasis in Criminal Justice, is designed to prepare the student to enter Metropolitan State College of Denver at the junior level in a bachelor degree program. Students should consult with an advisor to review the transfer articulation agreements and to determine which general education and criminal justice courses should be selected to meet the degree requirements of the four-year institution. A grade of "C" or better is required in each course.
