Director Certificate Requirements
24-25 Credits
You must successfully complete these eight courses along with verified work experience to earn a Director Certificate. You also will be eligible for a Level 2 Early Childhood Professional Credential when you complete these courses. | ECE 102 Introduction to Early Childhood Professions Lab Techniques (Lab Course) You are required to do 60 hours of lab work with children between the ages of birth and 8. | ECE 103 Guidance Strategies for Children You will need access to children between the ages of birth and 8 for observation and class work. |

| ECE 220 Curriculum Development: Methods and Techniques Recommended prerequisites for this course are: ECE 101, ECE 238 or PSY 238 and a basic English course. You also need regular access to children between the ages of birth and 8 for observation and class work. |
