Welcome to ECE111, Infant and Toddler Theory and Practice.
In this course we will explore the development, environment, appropriate curriculum, and responsive care-giving for children ages birth to 36 months.
Updated: 1/2020
In order to successfully complete the course, you must have access to an infant/toddler program or other location where you can observe and participate with children from 0-36 months of age. Many of the practices presented may apply only to infants and toddlers, and would not be applicable in a preschool program. Please make arrangements now to gain access to an I/T program to complete the requirements of this course. If you need further assistance in finding an appropriate child and/or program please contact your instructor the first week of the course. Thank you.
Please view Notes from the Department Chair and Field Trip/Field Work to see if there are additional requirements for this course.
This online course has the same prerequisite requirements as the on-campus course. Please check your home college catalog or schedule for specific prerequisite information.
